Jordan Chrisman, LMFT
Jordan Chrisman, LMFT

Language: English.

Jordan’s goal and passion as a therapist is to help his clients grow closer to God and become more like Christ by helping them find healing for their deep-seated emotional wounds, move towards forgiveness of others who have hurt them, enhance their capacity for intimacy, foster self-knowledge, and break free from inner compulsions. He is a licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT) and received a M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Azusa Pacific University in 2015. During graduate school, Jordan completed traineeships at Emmaus Road Christian Counseling and West Covina Unified School District. After graduating, he worked in community mental health for 5 years at Pacific Clinics where he provided individual therapy for clients ranging in age from children to older adults. Jordan also graduated from Life Pacific University in 2013 with a B.A. in Biblical Studies. As a therapist, he provides a Christ-centered approach and uses interventions from modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Depth Psychology. Jordan also utilizes personality assessments such as The Big Five in order to help his clients gain a deeper understanding of themselves.
