Brian Gleason, PhD, LMFT, is a licensed psychotherapist working in the Los Angeles area. Dr. Gleason brings 20 years of experience, working in several different capacities and specialty areas. He is a longtime activist and leader in the LGBTQ+ community, where he also works as Executive Director and Producer for Rise Up And Shout!, a mentoring organization for LGBTQ+. Dr. Gleason has also worked as a mentor for at risk youth for the county of Los Angeles and for private practice clients of adolescent and college-age who are launching their independent personalities and career lives. Dr. Gleason has published essays in Psychological Perspectives, White Crane Journal, and The Gay and Lesbian Review.
