Ellie is an associate therapist with a Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology/Social Justice from Georgetown University.
Ellie’s background in community development has shaped her belief that the systemic realities we navigate daily—including those shaped by social inequity—deserve to be honored in the therapy room. She takes a strengths-based approach, recognizing her clients’ cultures, identities, beliefs, and lived experiences as powerful sources of resilience, connection, and growth.
Ellie works with individuals, couples, and families. Her areas of focus include depression, anxiety, grief and loss, trauma, children and teens, pregnancy and postpartum, parenting, neurodiversity, and life transitions.
Ellie takes an integrative approach to therapy, thoughtfully drawing from approaches including ACT, CBT, DBT, and Motivational Interviewing to meet each client’s unique needs. She aims to create a safe space where you can bring the fullness of your emotions and experiences and be met with compassion, curiosity, and no judgment.
Mental health concerns, life stressors, and relational conflict can disrupt our sense of identity, agency, and connection to ourselves. But even in the midst of significant challenges, it is possible to feel well and live a fulfilling life with the right tools and support. Ellie’s ultimate goal is to help you feel at home within yourself: grounded in who you are, aligned with your values, and growing in self-trust.
